The school folkgroup is a huge part of life in St. Cuan’s College. It is made up of students from all academic years. At folkgroup, the students are encouraged to show their talents vocally as well as on their instruments. The folkgroup performs at the open night, the Christmas musical and Carol service as well as the Easter Variety show.
All genres of music from Traditional to Religious to Pop and Rock are performed. The folkgroup practices once a week and are rewarded for their hard work with an annual trip to Galway.
