Green Schools

Litter Rota- involvement of First , Second and Transition Year Students.

The first- and second-year students of St. Cuan’s College play an essential role in keeping our school clean, maintaining our Green Flag, and promoting awareness about the importance of responsible waste disposal. Working on a rota basis, their daily efforts—from careful litter management to supporting recycling initiatives—help foster a culture of respect for our school environment. These students are guided and supervised by a committee formed of Transition Year students, who act as positive role models and leaders within the school community. Through this teamwork, younger students develop a strong sense of responsibility, while TY students gain valuable leadership experience, ensuring that our Green Schools ethos remains vibrant and sustained.
