St. Cuan’s College Robotics Club
The St. Cuan’s College Robotics Club meets regularly to design, build, and program robots for the VEX Robotics Competition — a global robotics challenge that develops skills in engineering, coding, and teamwork. Our senior students have a fully functioning robot, which they redesign, alter, and rebuild every year to meet the unique challenges of that year’s game. We are also in the process of building a robot for the junior classes.
Each year, our teams compete in regional VEX competitions, testing their robots against schools across the province. Successful teams advance to the All-Ireland VEX Robotics Championships, competing at a national level. The club provides students with hands-on experience in problem-solving, innovation, and collaboration, making it a hub of creativity and friendly rivalry at St. Cuan’s.
